Londres

Have had a very good last day – open top bus tour of London – just in case we missed anything!
All really enjoyed Mme Tussaud then a traditional fish and chip lunch in an old fish restaurant. Walked to Oxford street and had about an hour there before heading off again on the bus to see and hear all about Westminster.
Next stop was Covent Garden and shopping – we did not have enough time for bowling so I gave them all 10 pounds to buy a gift for themselves.
We then set off for dinner in Brown’s – nothing to do with me! – quite upmarket restaurant which gave us a 2/3 course meal for less than 20 pounds! It was great and we all had what we wanted – even tried sticky toffee pudding! Then metro home at 11pm and fell into bed with teachers going on about packing by 9.30am!
Wherever we have gone we have been complimented on the behaviour of the students – it has been great! Hotel staff cannot believe them – no complaints at all and they say that this is not normal for a group. Helen told them that we have 8 kids between us so are used to dealing with kids – keep them busy and out till late!
All did shopping today and got Abercrombie and F, Superdry, Primark and H+M – be ready to carry this!
We should arrive about 7.10pm Saturday – see you then!

Hi there,
No rest for these people – too much to do and see.
Today they have been to Greenwich, where they went to the park and then around the Royal Observatory to find out about Mean Time etc.  They also visited the new Planetarium there to find out about the birth, life and death of stars, what there is in the universe outside our visible light range, etc.
After that they had lunch around old Greewich market.  From there they travelled by boat up the Thames to Westminster.
They are currently in Covent Garden – looking at the shops and street perfomers, no doubt.  Next on the agenda is an early dinner at Pizza Hut, followed by the stage version of the Lion King.

We have had a great week so far – museums, London Eye, Globe Theatre, Grease and lots more.  Lots of walking so no problem getting them to sleep at night.
We were on the river today doing activities from 10am until 4pm and the instructors complemented them all on their behaviour. They had a great time and most of them jumped into the river at the end – yes, with their clothes on!
Now back at hotel to dry out and change as off to the O2 arena for the cinema then dinner in the hotel.
Will keep you all updated,
Best wishes,
Helen and Elizabeth.
