Year 3 School Trip to the Pyrenees

Trip to the Pyrenees

By Sander James Visser

On the 24th of April, we embarked on an extraordinary school trip to the Pyrenees. This heavenly paradise had countless things to offer.

First of all, there was the beautiful, breathtaking scenery which surrounded us from all corners. Various plants and animals were to be discovered, and gorgeous, endless pathways along the rocky, steep mountains revealed to us spectacular and magnificent waterfalls. Snow was another terrific pleasure we got to enjoy. But if you weren’t careful, you might have ended up in it!

We slept at a campsite in so-called ‘luxury’ tents (not quite). The nights were very cold, and as result, we all ended up cuddled next to each other to keep warm ……. Just kidding! :D

We also went to visit a lot of ancient monuments, villages, towns, museums, churches, cathedrals, castles and even a local school too. The amazing history we learned and culture we experienced here, was definitely worth it.

Last but not least were the hilarious and terribly exciting sports activities. Everyone agreed that canyoning was the most fantastic of them all (and exhausting!)

There’s no doubt about it, this was definitely the best and most awesome trip of all!!

Year 3 School Trip to Barcelona by Talia

Our school trip to Barcelona

26.4.009-1.5.009

Our fascinating trip to Barcelona started on a cloudy Sunday. After arriving and checking in we were happy to relax at the beach and to look forward to the next day.
We set off north in the morning to “Val de Nuria”, where we did Tubby and walked around in the snow.
The next day was slightly more exhausting than the previous one seeing that we walked around a lot. For example: In the old quarter of Barcelona, in loads of cool shops and in an aquarium. We also had a terrific boat trip Lire la suite »
